Overview

Status-to-Strategy helps participants connect who they are, what they bring, and where they want to go. Through honest conversations and hands-on activities, participants move beyond social pressure and current circumstances to strengthen their career readiness, money decision-making, professional communication, and ability to take action.

Recognizing how caregiving, volunteering, work, side hustles, and life experience build real skills that can transfer to school, work, and future opportunities.

Building confidence in how participants introduce themselves, communicate what they bring, and navigate professional spaces authentically.

Career Exploration

Exploring career pathways, workplace expectations, professional norms, and what it takes to enter and navigate new spaces.

Money Choices & Future Planning

Building practical skills around budgeting, spending, saving, and making more intentional financial decisions.

Resume & Interview Prep

Turning strengths and experiences into professional language, building stronger resumes, and practicing interview skills with feedback.

Personal Status-to-Strategy Map

Bringing it all together in a personalized roadmap with clear, realistic next steps.

Intro Lab

90 Minutes

A focused, interactive workshop centered on one priority area. Includes partner pre-planning, participant materials, guided activities, and a clear next-step takeaway.

Full-Day Lab

Up to 5 hours

A comprehensive experience combining reflection, hands-on skill practice, career and money conversations, professional preparation, and a completed Status-to-Strategy Map.

Half-Day Lab

Up to 3.5 hours

A deeper experience that gives participants time to explore key topics, practice skills, receive direct feedback, and begin building their personal Status-to-Strategy Map.
